WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE A CHAMPAGNE FITNESS PERSONAL TRAINER?
The fact of the matter is that in the fitness industry there is no universally recognized standard by which a Personal Trainer is recognized. Anyone can attend a weekend seminar these days and obtain a Personal Trainer certification. All Champagne Fitness trainers have completed extensive post secondary education in a health and wellness program of study, and most are members of the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) with a minimum designation as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT).

I DONT HAVE ANY FITNESS EQUIPMENT - CAN I STILL WORKOUT AT HOME?
If you have a body you have fitness equipment. If you have fitness equipment at home already, we will make use of it for variety. If you don’t, we can bring ours to your training session free of charge. Alternatively, we have access to discounted rates from many local fitness equipment retailers so we can get you outfitted with your own equipment at a lower than retail cost.
IF I HAVE A PRE-EXISTING HEALTH CONDITION CAN I STILL HIRE A PERSONAL TRAINER?
During your Fitness Consultation we ask you questions that pertain to your health history and complete a variety of forms and questionnaires, including the ParQ Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire that has been prepared by Health Canada. This form helps us screen our potential clients for pre-existing health conditions. If any questions are answered with a ‘yes’ response, then we are required by law to have your Family Doctor evaluate you and fill in another form called the ParMedX with his or her recommendations with respect to your fitness. If you are cleared for exercise by your doctor then we are able to work with you as a personal training client.
WHAT AREAS OF THE CITY DO YOU WORK IN?
We are currently operating within Calgary city limits, as well as in Elbow Valley and Springbank.
I ALSO NEED NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE - CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THAT?
Absolutely. At Champagne Fitness we are committed to helping you see results, and a big part of your success will happen if you are following some general nutritional guidelines. We will provide you with information that will enable you to make wise food choices and teach you about energy balance. Should you require a more intensive nutrition program, we also have a Nutritionist on our staff who has a Food Science Degree from the University of Alberta and offer a variety of nutrition packages.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR MOBILE PERSONAL TRAINING AND YOGA?
The cost of personal training varies according to the number of sessions purchased at one time. Package rates are available - the more you buy the more you save per hourly session!
WHAT ARE THE TRAINING POLICIES AT CHAMPAGNE FITNESS?
•All personal training sessions are one hour in duration unless otherwise determined and payment is billed accordingly.
•Please be dressed in proper workout attire and be ready to start all sessions on time. If you are not prepared to start the session on time, the training session will still finish at the predetermined scheduled time.
•Should you, the client, wish to cancel an appointment, 24 hours notice is required. Notice can be given via telephone, e-mail or text message. Failure to comply will result in billing for the missed session.
•Should you wish to reschedule an appointment within 24 hours notice the trainer will do his or her best to accommodate your request. Should the trainer be unable to find an alternate timeslot within a reasonable timeframe will result in billing for the missed session.
•There are no refunds on unused personal training packages and sessions are non-transferrable.

WHY SHOULD I PRACTICE YOGA AT HOME VERSUS GOING OUT TO A CLASS?
Doing yoga at home with your own private yoga teacher offers you the convenience of practicing at a time that suits you best. The private yoga sessions are designed to meet your specific needs and goals, while allowing the teacher to give you the personal attention needed to develop and deepen your practice at your own pace. We will come to your home, company, or other location of your choice for your convenience. You are free to practice by yourself, with a partner, or with a group of colleagues, friends, or neighbors.
